Milwaukee signs Crowder, Tousignant

The Milwaukee Admirals announced today that they have signed forwards Paul Crowder and Mathieu Tousignant to American Hockey League contracts.

Crowder played seven games in the AHL in 2012-13, two with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and five with Milwaukee, totaling two assists. He also notched an assist in one Calder Cup Playoff appearance with the Admirals. Crowder spent most of the season in the ECHL with Wheeling, registering 23 goals and 39 assists for 62 points in 68 games.

Crowder has appeared in 102 career AHL games with Milwaukee, Wilkes-Barre, Manchester and Hartford, registering 12 goals and 19 assists for 31 points. The native of Victoria, B.C., played three seasons at the University of Alaska-Anchorage from 2006-09.

Tousignant notched one goal and one assist in 23 games between Texas and St. John’s in 2012-13, as well as four goals and 15 assists in 28 ECHL contests with Idaho.

A fifth-year pro from St-Etienne-de-Lauzon, Que., Tousignant has amassed 17 goals and 22 assists for 39 points in 181 career AHL games, as well as one goal in five Calder Cup Playoff matches.
