Moose even things up with another 3-2 win

Defenseman Prestin Ryan broke a 2-2 tie at 4:30 into the third frame to give the Moose a 3-2 lead and the eventual win to even the best-of-seven North Division Finals series at two games apiece with Hamilton on Saturday night.

J.J. Hunter added a goal and an assist for Manitoba, who won its second straight game at Copps Coliseum by the score of 3-2.

After working the final two periods in Game 3, netminder Wade Flaherty made his first start of the Calder Cup Playoffs, stopping 27 of 29 shots for the Moose.

Lee Goren added a power-play goal midway through the second period to give Manitoba a 2-1 lead on Hamilton.

Kyle Chipchura and defenseman Danny Groulx each tallied for Hamilton, who looks to salvage a win at home with Game 5 set for Sunday.
