Moose mince Milwaukee

Justin Morrison had a goal and an assist and Wade Flaherty made 30 saves as Manitoba took a 5-2 decision from Milwaukee at the Bradley Center on Thursday.

The Moose snapped a four-game winless skid and regained sole possession of second place in the North Division. The Admirals had their four-game winning streak snapped, and remained tied with Chicago for the lead in the West.

Morrison gave Manitoba a 2-0 lead late in the first period, just 34 seconds after Josh Green opened the scoring. Jesse Schultz, Jimmy Roy and Alexandre Burrows also scored for the Moose.

Dan Hamhuis and Brendan Yarema had the Milwaukee goals.
