Moose sign McGinn to one-year contract

The Manitoba Moose have signed forward Tye McGinn to a one-year contract.

McGinn, 28, enters his eighth professional season in 2018-19 after collecting 10 goals and 13 assists for 23 points in 55 AHL games between Syracuse and Tucson last year.

McGinn has played 311 games in the AHL with Adirondack, Syracuse and Tucson, notching 86 goals and 79 assists for 165 points. He reached the Calder Cup Finals with the Crunch in 2017, picking up 16 points in 22 postseason games that spring.

A fourth-round pick by Philadelphia in the 2010 NHL Draft, McGinn has also appeared in 89 career NHL games with the Flyers, San Jose, Arizona and Tampa Bay, totaling nine goals and eight assists.
