Moose’s FitzGerald suspended one game

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Manitoba Moose defenseman Zack FitzGerald has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions in a game at Iowa on Jan. 9.

FitzGerald was assessed an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period, resulting in an automatic one-game suspension under AHL Rule 47.21.

FitzGerald will miss Manitoba’s game tonight (Jan. 10) at Iowa.
