Moose’s Moran named Rbk/AHL Player of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League announced today that Manitoba Moose center Brad Moran has been named the Rbk/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending March 30, 2008. Moran notched eight points on a goal and seven assists in four road games last week as the Moose clinched a berth in the 2008 Calder Cup Playoffs.

Moran began the week with a three-assist performance to help Manitoba to a 7-2 win at Lake Erie on Tuesday night, then recorded two assists in Wednesday’s 4-1 victory at Rochester as the Moose extended their winning streak to 10 games.
