The Tucson Roadrunners are moving on to the Pacific Division Finals after a 3-0 win over the San Jose Barracuda at the Tucson Convention Center on Friday night.

The Roadrunners eliminated the Barracuda, three games to one, and will face the Texas Stars in the second round beginning Wednesday, May 2.

Adin Hill (3-1) made 25 saves for his second consecutive shutout and his fifth in his last 11 starts. He is the first AHL goaltender with shutouts in back-to-back playoff games since Petr Mrazek for Grand Rapids in 2013.

Mario Kempe scored his third goal of the series at 4:24 of the second period, and Conor Garland put home a rebound with 15:07 to go in regulation for a big insurance marker. Kempe then hit the empty San Jose net with 59.9 seconds to go for the final margin.

Andrew Campbell tallied two assists for the Roadrunners, his second straight two-point game.

Antoine Bibeau (1-3) stopped 31 of 33 shots in the loss.
