AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Rockford IceHogs forward Jake Dowell has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of a match penalty for an illegal check to the head of an opponent, assessed in a game at Chicago on Nov. 26.

Dowell will miss Rockford’s games Wednesday (Nov. 30) vs. Manitoba and Friday (Dec. 2) vs. Chicago.
