AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions:

Syracuse Crunch forward Jeremy Morin has been suspended for three (3) games as a consequence of his actions in a game at Bridgeport on Dec. 17.

Morin was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

He will miss Syracuse’s games Wednesday (Dec. 21) vs. Hartford; Dec. 26 at Rochester; and Dec. 28 vs. Hershey.

Texas Stars defenseman Dustin Stevenson has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of his actions in a game vs. Milwaukee on Dec. 17.

Stevenson was assessed an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period, resulting in an automatic one-game suspension under the provisions of AHL Rule 46.22.

He will miss Texas’s game Wednesday (Dec. 21) vs. San Antonio.
