Blizzard forces AHL postponements

Updated Sunday, 9:00 a.m. ET

The American Hockey League has announced the postponement of three games originally scheduled for Sunday due to inclement weather.

Blizzard conditions in New England have resulted in the postponement of AHL #600 (Hartford at Lowell), AHL #602 (Portland at Providence) and AHL #605 (Manchester at Worcester).

No make-up dates have announced for any of the games.

Two games from Saturday’s slate had been shelved as well. The Philadelphia-Hershey contest scheduled for the Giant Center has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 2, at 7:30 p.m.

Additionally, Saturday night’s game between the Houston Aeros and Grand Rapids Griffins was postponed, as the inclement weather prevented the Griffins from arriving in Houston in time for the game.

No make-up date has been announced. Sunday’s game between the clubs is currently on as scheduled.
