Janne Kuokkanen scored two of Charlotte’s four power-play goals and the Checkers rolled to a 6-0 road win over Lehigh Valley in Game 2 of the Atlantic Division Finals on Saturday night.
Now tied at one game apiece, the best-of-seven series shifts to North Carolina for the next three games, beginning Tuesday night.
The Checkers scored two goals in each period of Game 2 to hand the Phantoms their most lopsided loss on home ice since a 9-1 defeat to Providence on Jan. 21, 2017.

Lucas Wallmark, Philip Samuelsson, Valentin Zykov and Julien Gauthier scored for Charlotte, and Andrew Miller, Andrew Poturalski and Trevor Carrick recorded two assists apiece.
Alex Nedeljkovic (4-1) made 26 saves for his first shutout of the postseason.
Dustin Tokarski (1-1) stopped 17 shots for Lehigh Valley.
