The Grand Rapids Griffins clinched a spot in the 2019 Calder Cup Playoffs on Saturday night, despite seeing their losing streak reach nine games.
The Griffins, Calder Cup champions in 2013 and 2017, will make their seventh consecutive postseason appearance. They will finish either third or fourth in the Central Division.
