The Quad City Flames announced today that the team has planned a 30 Days of Hockey celebration as a lead-in to the team’s Opening Night on Oct. 6 vs. the Rockford IceHogs.
Highlights of the schedule include the unveiling of the team’s jersey on Sept. 17, the introduction of the team’s mascot on Sept. 24 and the team’s preseason game vs. Iowa at the Quad City Sports Center on Sept. 29.
The 30 Days of Hockey kick off this Thursday when single-game tickets go on sale to the public at the I Wireless Center and all Ticketmaster outlets. On Friday, the Flames’ pocket schedule will be available to the public at various locations including the I Wireless Center box office.
Beginning Saturday, the team is holding a drawing for a Quad City Flames logo guitar courtesy of Pennington’s Guitar Shop. Fans will have a chance to win a custom designed Flames logo guitar by registering at Pennington’s Guitar Shop in Moline. The winner will be announced on Oct. 7 during the Flames’ game vs. Peoria.
