The Dallas Stars have returned defenseman Patrik Nemeth on loan to their AHL affiliate, the Texas Stars.
Nemeth, 22, skated in eight games for Dallas during the 2013-14 regular season making his NHL debut on Apr. 1 at Washington. The 6-foot-3, 235-pound defenseman also skated in five Stanley Cup Playoff contests in 2014, registering one shot and 12 penalty minutes.
Nemeth spent most of the 2013-14 regular season with Texas, posting 10 points (three goals, seven assists) in 37 games and leading all team defensemen with a plus-19 rating.
The native of Stockholm, Sweden, was originally drafted by Dallas in the second round (41st overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft.
