The Edmonton Oilers, parent club of the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors, have signed winger Taylor Beck to a one-year contract.
Beck, 25, played 50 AHL games with Bridgeport and San Antonio in 2015-16, recording 17 goals and 17 assists for 34 points. He was also scoreless in two NHL games with the New York Islanders.
Over five pro seasons, the native of St. Catharines, Ont., has registered 61 goals and 104 assists for 165 points in 243 AHL games with Bridgeport, San Antonio and Milwaukee. He set career highs in goals (17), assists (32) and points (49) in 2013-14.
A third-round raft choice by Nashville in 2009, Beck has totaled 11 goals and 12 assists in 87 NHL games with the Predators and the Islanders.
