The Philadelphia Flyers, parent club of the AHL’s Adirondack Phantoms, have signed defenseman Dan Jancevski and forwards David Laliberte and Matt Clackson.
Jancevski appeared in 78 regular-season games with the Texas Stars in 2009-10, where he recorded three goals and 20 assists for 23 points along with a plus-18 rating and 71 penalty minutes. He also posted 12 points (1g, 11a) in 24 Calder Cup Playoff games, helping the Stars reach the Calder Cup Finals in their first season in the AHL.
The 6-foot-3, 222-pound defenseman has spent nine seasons in the AHL with Texas, Hamilton, Iowa, Norfolk and Utah, notching 39 goals and 183 assists for 222 points in 694 games. He was an AHL All-Star in 2004, and won the Calder Cup with Hamilton in 2007.
Jancevski has also appeared in nine career NHL games with Dallas and Tampa Bay.
A native of Windsor, Ont., Jancevski was originally selected by Dallas in the second round (66th overall) of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.
Laliberte, 24, recorded 18 goals and 28 assists for 46 points in 66 games with Adirondack this past season. He finished tied for second on the Phantoms in points (46), third in goals (18) and fourth in assists (28). He also had three points (2g, 1a) in 11 games with the Flyers, including a goal and an assist in his NHL debut vs. Carolina on Oct. 31.
Laliberte also appeared in one Stanley Cup Playoff game with the Flyers last season.
A native of St-Liboire, Que., Laliberte was originally selected by the Flyers in the fourth round (124th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. In 163 career AHL games over three seasons, Laliberte has recorded 49 goals and 54 assists for 103 points.
Clackson, 25, spent the entire 2009-10 season with Adirondack, where he posted six points (2g, 4a) and 174 penalty minutes in 60 games with the Phantoms. Over the course of two full seasons in the AHL with the Phantoms, Clackson has recorded 15 points (5g, 10a) and 437 PIM in 140 regular season games. He has led the Phantoms the past two seasons in penalty minutes: 2009-10 (174) and 2008-09 (263).
A native of Saskatoon, Sask., Clackson was originally selected by the Flyers in the seventh round (215th overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
