SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League announced today that action from the Calder Cup Playoffs will once again be heard live on the all-hockey NHL Home Ice channel on SiriusXM Satellite Radio.
NHL Home Ice will carry Friday night’s Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Charlotte Checkers (top development team of the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes) and the Binghamton Senators (Ottawa Senators) live at 7 p.m. ET.
Future games will be announced at a later date.
This is the sixth consecutive year that AHL action has aired on NHL Home Ice, including the annual AHL All-Star Game, the Calder Cup Finals and other regular-season and playoff games.
