Ontario, Horvat agree to terms

The Ontario Reign announced Tuesday that the team has agreed to terms with forward Ryan Horvat.

 

Horvat, 22, netted 11 points (three goals, eight assists) and 89 penalty minutes in 52 games with the Manchester Monarchs during his rookie campaign last season and added a goal in nine Calder Cup Playoff contests to help the Monarchs capture the Calder Cup.
 
Prior to turning pro, the Simcoe, Ontario, native totaled 84 points (32 goals, 52 assists) in 185 games in the Ontario Hockey League with the Guelph Storm, helping them capture the 2014 Robertson Cup as OHL champions.
