Penguins acquire Lindberg, Dunn

The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired AHL forwards Tobias Lindberg and Vincent Dunn as part of a three-team trade with the Vegas Golden Knights and the Ottawa Senators.

The Penguins also acquired forward Derick Brassard and a 2018 third-round draft pick from the Senators, while sending defenseman Ian Cole, goaltender Filip Gustavsson, a 2018 first-round draft pick and a 2019 third-round selection to Ottawa; and forward Ryan Reaves and a 2018 fourth-round draft pick to Vegas.

Lindberg, 22, has eight goals and 10 assists for 18 points in 48 AHL games with Chicago Wolves this season.

Originally a fourth-round draft pick by Ottawa in 2013, Lindberg has 25 goals and 43 assists in 148 career AHL games with Chicago, Binghamton and Toronto. He also has two assists in six career NHL contests, all with the Maple Leafs.

Dunn, 22, has four assists in 17 AHL games with the Belleville Senators this season. A fifth-round draft pick by Ottawa in 2013, Dunn has appeared in 29 career contests in the AHL with Belleville and Binghamton, totaling six assists. He has also skated in 118 ECHL games with Brampton, Wichita and Evansville.
