Phantoms push back again, draw even with Bears

Lehigh Valley staved off elimination on the road for the second game in a row, setting up a winner-take-all showdown with their rivals from Hershey on Sunday afternoon at PPL Center in Allentown.

The Phantoms’ 4-1 win in Game 4 was their second straight after losing the first two games of the series at home. Lehigh Valley hosts Game 5 on Sunday (5:05 p.m. ET) with the winner advancing to the Atlantic Division Finals.

Danick Martel and Mark Zengerle scored their first goals of the postseason to stake the Phantoms to a 2-0 lead, and Scott Laughton potted a pair in the third period to seal the victory.

Chandler Stephenson made his series debut following an NHL stint in Washington and scored Hershey’s only goal in Game 4.

Martin Ouellette stopped 27 of 28 shots and now has a .966 save percentage in the Phantoms’ two wins.

Pheonix Copley made 34 saves in the loss.
