Predators pick up Potter

The Nashville Predators, parent club of the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals, have acquired defenseman Corey Potter from the Arizona Coyotes for future considerations.

Potter will report to Milwaukee.

Potter, 32, has five goals and 12 assists for 17 points in 52 AHL games for Springfield this season. The 10th-year pro has skated in 404 career AHL matches with Springfield, Adirondack, Oklahoma City, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Hartford, totaling 33 goals and 134 assists for 167 points.

A native of Lansing, Mich., Potter has 129 NHL games to his credit with Calgary, Boston, Edmonton, Pittsburgh and the New York Rangers, recording eight goals and 24 assists.
