The Ontario Reign announced Friday that the team has agreed to terms with forward Brett Sutter.

Sutter, 30, finished fifth on the Reign in scoring last season (36 points) and second in goals (18) in 66 games played. The Viking, Alberta, native enters his 11th professional season and second full campaign with the Reign in 2017-18 after joining the team from the Minnesota Wild organization following a Feb. 29, 2016, trade.

Sutter has played 678 regular-season games over 10 AHL seasons with Ontario, Iowa, Charlotte, Abbotsford and Quad City, recording 118 goals and 169 assists for 287 points. He also has two goals and eight assists in 60 NHL games with Minnesota, Carolina and Calgary.

Sutter was selected by the Calgary Flames in the sixth round (179th overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
