J.J. Hunter and Nate DiCasmirro recorded a goal and an assist each as Edmonton posted a 4-3 win over Rochester on Wednesday night, bringing a halt to the Amerks’ seven-game winning streak.
It was the third consecutive victory for the Road Runners, who kept pace with the rest of the North Division leaders (see below).
Rochester erased deficits of 1-0 and 2-1 before Hunter put Edmonton ahead for good with 1:15 left in the second period. Brad Winchester made it 4-2 in the opening minute of the third.
Mathieu Roy registered two assists and a plus-4 rating on the night, and Tyler Moss (15-5-2) finished with 20 saves.
Sean McMorrow, Daniel Paille and Brandon Smith scored for the Amerks.
