Rochester signs Veilleux to one-year deal

The Rochester Americans have signed forward Yannick Veilleux to a one-year American Hockey League contract.

Veilleux joins the Amerks after skating in 52 AHL games with the Laval Rocket last season, recording three goals and four assists for seven points.

Veilleux, 25, enters his sixth pro season in 2018-19. He has compiled 28 goals and 35 assists for 63 points in 253 career AHL games with Laval, St. John’s, Chicago and Peoria.

Veilleux was a fourth-round selection by St. Louis in the 2011 NHL Draft.
