Sabres sign defenseman Prow

The Buffalo Sabres have signed defenseman Ethan Prow to a one-year contract.

Prow returns to North America after spending the 2020-21 season with Munich in Germany’s DEL.

In 220 career AHL games with Springfield and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Prow has notched 32 goals and 84 assists for 116 points along with a plus-32 rating. In 2018-19, he participated in the AHL All-Star Classic and was voted a Second Team AHL All-Star after setting career highs in goals (18), assists (32), points (50) and plus/minus (+26).

A native of Sauk River, Minn., Prow played four seasons at St. Cloud State and is entering his sixth professional season in 2021-22.
