Miroslav Satan registered four points (1-3-4) in his Wilkes-Barre/Scranton debut and defenseman Andy Wozniewski netted a pair of goals as the Penguins took a 7-2 win over Albany on Monday at the Times Union Center.

Satan, a 1,012-game NHL veteran who last played in the AHL on Apr. 1, 1995, scored a power play goal early in the second period and assisted on tallies by Jeff Taffe, Nick Johnson, and Wozniewski.

Taffe finished with three points (1-2-3) on the night, Connor James posted a goal and an assist, and Luca Caputi also lit the lamp. Janne Pesonen chipped in two assists, giving him the Penguins franchise record for points in a season with 68 thus far (24-44-68).

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton improved to 4-1-0-0 in its last five games and closed within two points of Bridgeport for second place and three back of Hershey for first place in the East Division.

Mike Angelidis and Jerome Samson netted goals for the River Rats, who lost their third straight game.
