Schneider returning to Milwaukee

The Milwaukee Admirals announced today that the team has signed forward Cole Schneider to a one-year AHL contract for the 2019-20 season.

Schneider joined Milwaukee after being acquired by the Nashville Predators in a trade with the New York Rangers on Jan. 15, 2019. Schneider tallied 22 points in 24 games with the Admirals and finished the 2018-19 season with 23 goals and 24 assists for 47 points in 60 AHL games between Milwaukee and Hartford.

A native of Williamsville, N.Y., Schneider has played 489 AHL games over his seven-year pro career, totaling 150 goals and 215 assists for 365 points with Milwaukee, Hartford, Rochester and Binghamton. He was an AHL All-Star in 2017.

Schneider has also posted one assist in six career NHL games, all with Buffalo.
