Semi sweep: Chocolate

Frederic Cassivi made 30 saves to lift the Hershey Bears to a 5-1 win over the Norfolk Admirals and a four-game sweep of their East Division semifinal series on Tuesday night.

The Bears will play either Bridgeport or Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in the second round.

Graham Mink broke a 1-1 tie with 11:42 left in the second period to give Hershey the lead for good. Eric Fehr added an insurance goal with 5:40 remaining in regulation, and Dave Steckel and Kris Beech piled on shorthanded empty-netters to cap the scoring.

Boyd Gordon also scored, and Mark Wotton added two assists for the Bears, who completed their first sweep of a best-of-seven playoff series taking four straight from Rochester in 1994.

Cassivi, in his second tour of duty with Hershey, is now 11-3 in 14 career playoff decisions for the Bears.
