The Ottawa Senators announced today the club signed forward Jordan Szwarz to a one-year, two-way contract.
Szwarz was an AHL All-Star in 2018-19, scoring a career-best 23 goals and adding 23 assists for 46 points in 68 games while serving as captain of the Providence Bruins.
In 432 AHL games over eight professional seasons, Szwarz has registered 113 goals and 147 assists for 260 points playing for Providence, Springfield, Portland and San Antonio.
Drafted by the Coyotes in 2009 (fourth round), Szwarz has appeared in 47 NHL games with Arizona and Boston, notching four goals and three assists.
