Stars return Krahn to Chicago

Krahn made his National Hockey League debut with Dallas in 20 minutes of relief action against the Chicago Blackhawks on Feb. 14. The netminder, who was recalled from the Wolves on Feb. 6, stopped six of nine shots he faced in that contest.

The 26-year-old Winnipeg native has notched a 4-3-0 record with a 2.28 goals-against average and .914 save percentage in eight outings with Chicago this season. He has allowed two or fewer goals five times, which includes posting his 12th American Hockey League shutout with a 30-save performance in his last start on Jan. 31.

The Calgary Flames’ first choice, ninth overall, in the 2000 National Hockey League Entry Draft, Krahn has a 75-62-14 record and 2.55 goals-against average in 163 career AHL outings spanning five seasons (2003 to 2009) with the Wolves, Quad City Flames, Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights, San Antonio Rampage and Lowell Lock Monsters.
