The Texas Stars have acquired defenseman Michael Paliotta from the Toronto Marlies for future considerations.
Paliotta, 24, is scoreless in eight games for the Marlies this season. He has appeared in 128 regular-season games in the AHL with Toronto, Hartford and Lake Erie, collecting nine goals and 28 assists for 37 points.
A Calder Cup champion with Lake Erie in 2016, Paliotta has also appeared in two NHL games, one with Chicago in 2014-15 and one with Columbus in 2015-16.
