The Texas Stars announced Monday that the team has signed forward Colton Hargrove to an AHL contract for the 2018-19 season.
Hargrove, a native of Rockwall, Texas, has spent the last three seasons with the AHL’s Providence Bruins, collecting 38 goals and 49 assists for 87 points in 185 regular-season games. He set career highs in goals (16), assists (17) and points (33) in just 52 games in 2017-18.
Hargrove also skated in 20 postseason games with the Bruins, totaling two goals and one assist.
Hargrove was originally selected by the Boston Bruins in the seventh round of the 2012 NHL Draft.
