Three of a kind for Moose’s Roy

With an eye on regaining first place in the North Division, Manitoba got all the offense it would need from Jimmy Roy in a 3-0 win over San Antonio on Thursday night.

Roy scored once in the first period and twice in the third. He had three goals in 24 games before finding the net four times in two games against the Rampage this week.

Justin Morrison recorded two assists, and Alex Auld made 21 saves to earn the shutout.

The Moose won for the third straight time to jump back over Rochester and into the top spot in the North Division. Manitoba is a league-best 14-2-1-1 on the road this season, and continues its current trip with two games in Houston over the weekend.
