The Springfield Thunderbirds announced Thursday that they have signed forward Harry Zolnierczyk to an AHL contract.
Zolnierczyk has spent the last two seasons in the Nashville Predators organization. In 2017-18, he scored a career-high 21 goals and added 21 assists for 42 points in 73 games with the Milwaukee Admirals.
Entering his eighth pro season, Zolnierczyk has appeared in 354 AHL games with Milwaukee, San Diego, Bridgeport, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Norfolk and Adirondack, tallying 91 goals and 101 assists for 192 points.
The Toronto native has also skated in 84 NHL games with Nashville, Anaheim, the N.Y. Islanders, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, totaling seven goals and six assists for 13 points. He also appeared in 11 postseason games during Nashville’s run to the Stanley Cup Final in 2017, collecting a goal and two assists.
