Wild, Bartley agree to terms

The Minnesota Wild, parent club of the AHL’s Iowa Wild, have agreed to terms with free-agent defenseman Victor Bartley on a one-year, two-way contract.

Bartley, 28, appeared in 24 AHL games between Milwaukee and St. John’s last season, totaling one goal and three assists. He also played 10 NHL games between Nashville and Montreal.

The Ottawa native has skated in 172 AHL games with Milwaukee, St. John’s, Bridgeport and Providence, notching 19 goals and 52 assists for 71 points. He participated in the 2013 AHL All-Star Classic.

Bartley has one goal and 22 assists for 23 points in 121 career NHL games with Nashville and Montreal.
