The Chicago Wolves clinched a spot in the 2019 Calder Cup Playoffs on Friday night, becoming the first Western Conference club to secure a spot.
The Wolves secured their third consecutive postseason trip with a 4-3 win in Grand Rapids.
Chicago, bidding for a third straight Central Division title, has reached the Calder Cup Finals three times and has won two championships (2002, 2008) since joining the AHL.
