Full Playoffs Schedule

CHICAGO 4, TEXAS 3 (OT)
Anthony Stewart notched his second goal of the game at 12:21 of the second overtime period, sending Chicago to a 4-3 win over Texas on Sunday in Game 2 of the West Division Finals. The series is now even at a game apiece, with the next three contests to be played in Texas.

Stewart’s first goal of the night came on the power play and gave the Wolves a 3-1 lead at 1:32 of the third period. But Andrew Hutchinson brought Texas within 3-2 at 11:57, and Warren Peters tallied the equalizer at the 19:06 mark.

Aaron Gagnon also netted a goal for the Stars, and netminder Brent Krahn stopped 42 of 46 shots in the losing effort.

Wolves forwards Spencer Machacek and Jason Krog scored in the first and second periods, respectively, before Gagnon potted his first of the playoffs to make it a 2-1 game.

Brett Sterling (0-3-3) and defenseman Ivan Vishnevskiy (0-2-2) assisted on Stewart’s game winner to cap multiple-assist performances, and Chicago goaltender Peter Mannino secured the win with 35 saves in net.

It marked the second consecutive 4-3 overtime final to open this series, as the Stars took Game 1 by that score on Friday. That contest required only one extra session, though.
