2009 AHL All-Star Classic continues Monday

2009asc_v2.jpgSunday night’s 2009 AHL All-Star Skills Competition was just the beginning.

The 2009 AHL All-Star Classic presented by Charter Communications continues from Worcester on Monday with a full day of activities.

The All-Star players and mascots will take part in the Worcester Sharks Be a Leader and Reading is Cool programs, presented by the law form of Abigail Williams & Associates, when they visit the Clark Street Community School on Monday morning.

The Hockey Hall of Fame/AHL All-Star Classic Luncheon will be the site of the induction ceremony for the American Hockey League’s Hall of Fame Class of 2009: Bruce Boudreau, Jimmy Anderson, Les Cunningham and Louis A.R. Pieri.

The Stanley Cup will be on display in the atrium of Saint Vincent Hospital from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

And of course, the Classic wraps up with the 2009 AHL All-Star Game from the DCU Center, with coverage beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET on TSN in Canada, a series of regional sports networks in the United States, AHL Live and the NHL Home Ice channel on Sirius XM Radio and XM Canada.
