AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Binghamton Senators defenseman Filip Novak and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins right wing Dennis Bonvie have each been suspended for one (1) regular-season game as a result of their actions during an AHL game between the teams on Mar. 12.

Both players will miss the game between Binghamton and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Wednesday night (Mar. 15).

The AHL also announced that Philadelphia Phantoms left wing Ben Eager has been suspended for three (3) regular-season games as a result of his actions during an AHL game against the Hamilton Bulldogs on Mar. 11.

Eager will miss Philadelphia’s games on Wednesday (Mar. 15) vs. Hartford, Friday (Mar. 17) vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Saturday (Mar. 18) at Binghamton.
