LOOKING AHEAD:
Rockford begins a three-game weekend trip through the North Division tonight at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester… The IceHogs, who enter the weekend 3-0-1-1 in their last five games, will also visit Syracuse and Toronto… Martin St. Pierre has nine points (2-7-9) in his last four games, while Rockford scoring leader Petri Kontiola has recorded seven points in his last three (2-5-7)… Michael Blunden leads the IceHogs with five goals, including three in his last four outings… Rochester’s 18 games played are the most in the league, but the Amerks are playing just six times in 25 days from Nov. 12-Dec. 6… Dylan Hunter has a point in six of his last seven outings (4-6-10) for Rochester… Rockford ranks second in the AHL in offense at 3.79 goals per game; Rochester is 27th in defense with 3.67 goals allowed per game.

San Antonio continues a seven-game road swing – all against divisional foes – with a Friday night tilt in Milwaukee… The Rampage have scored a league-high 56 goals this season, but Milwaukee’s average of 2.09 goals allowed is third-best in the AHL… Joel Perrault has at least one point in nine of his last 10 games (3-8-11) for San Antonio… Jon DiSalvatore is tied for second on the team with 14 points but is scoreless in his last three outings… Milwaukee’s Pekka Rinne is 5-1-0 with a 1.82 GAA in six starts at the Bradley Center this season… The Admirals have the league’s best penalty kill at 91.7 percent, and their five shorthanded goals this season are bettered only by San Antonio’s six.

Worcester visits Providence on Friday for the second of 10 meetings between the teams… The Bruins (9-1-1-0) are first in the Atlantic Division, with their only regulation loss of the season coming in Worcester on Oct. 21… Providence’s Pascal Pelletier has six-game scoring streak intact (3-6-9), and rookie Vladimir Sobotka has a point in five straight games (3-3-6)… The Bruins average AHL-best marks in both shots taken (35.5) and shots allowed (21.8) per game… The Sharks are led in scoring by Mike Iggulden (8-9-17), who has a point in four straight games (3-4-7) and in 11 of 12 overall… The Sharks own the AHL’s best road power play at 29.0 percent (9-for-31) through six games.

Kamil Kreps, who tallied six points in six AHL games with Rochester this season, scored the game-winning goal in Florida’s 2-1 victory over Washington on Thursday night… Recalled from the Phantoms earlier in the day, Denis Tolpeko picked up a goal and an assist for his first two NHL points in the Philadelphia Flyers’ 4-3 shootout loss to the N.Y. Rangers.
