Bears bury Senators, 7-3

Eric Perrin had four points, Chris Bala scored two goals and Hershey rolled to a 7-3 win over Binghamton at the Giant Center on Wednesday night.

The loss ended the Senators’ four-game winning streak.

Bala, Perrin and Andre Savage gave the Bears a 3-0 lead by the 11:17 mark of the opening period.

Perrin would finish with two goals and two assists, giving him 25 points in 33 games this season. Savage wound up with a goal and two assists, and Bala netted his fourth and fifth goals of the year.

David Masse added a goal and an assist, and Peter Budaj made 32 saves.

Jason Spezza, the reigning CCM Vector/AHL Player of the Week, was a minus-5 on the night. Anton Volchenkov, Brian Pothier and rookie Brandon Bochenski were each minus-4.
