Bulldog adjusting from start to Finnish

Eero Somervuori entered his first American Hockey League season as a Hamilton Bulldog with more professional hockey experience than many other newcomers to the league.

He came to North America from Finland a bit older and wiser, able to deal with challenges somewhat easier.

He wants to fill the net with pucks. So instead of getting frustrated over his lack of goal production, he’s handling his scoring funk with a positive attitude and working hard to recapture his scoring ways.

“Right now I feel like I have to use my scoring chances better and score more goals,” says Somervuori, who has accounted for only five goals through 41 games this season. “I have to be more physical and do the little things better.
