Caesars to host All-Star events

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League announced today that Caesars Atlantic City will play host to the Post-Skills Party and the 2012 AHL Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Ceremony taking place in association with the 2012 AHL All-Star Classic, Sunday, January 29 and Monday, January 30, 2012, at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J.

Following Sunday’s All-Star Skills Competition at Boardwalk Hall, take a quick walk down the Boardwalk to the Palladium Ballroom at Caesars Atlantic City for the Post-Skills Party, starting at 5:30 p.m. Tickets to the party are priced at $35, and include a chance to meet and mingle with the players and grab an autograph or photo, enjoy complimentary beverages, interactive game stations, music and more.

The 2012 AHL Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Ceremony will take place on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Caesars Circus Maximus Theatre. This long-standing tradition honors AHL’s hockey legends and rising stars. The AHL Hall of Fame recognizes and celebrates individuals for their outstanding achievements and contributions. Tickets are $20 and include a commemorative program.

All-Session tickets for the 2012 AHL All-Star Classic, which include tickets to the Skills Competition and All-Star Game, are currently on sale and are priced at $52 for on the glass, $37 for the Lower Bowl, and $32 for the Upper Bowl. The 2012 AHL All-Star Classic in Atlantic City will feature the top young talent in the American Hockey League competing in the AHL All-Star Skills Competition and the AHL All-Star Game. Of the 562 players to take part in the AHL All-Star Classic since 1995, more than 93 percent have competed in the National Hockey League, including Patrice Bergeron, Brad Boyes, Dan Boyle, Daniel Briere, Brian Campbell, Zdeno Chara, Miikka Kiprusoff, Ryan Miller, Zach Parise, Bobby Ryan, Martin St. Louis, Jason Spezza, Eric Staal and Tomas Vokoun.
