Scrivens returned to Marlies

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Saturday afternoon that goaltender Ben Scrivens has been assigned to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Scrivens posted a record of 2-4-1 with a 2.96 goals-against average in eight appearances with the Maple Leafs this season.

He made his NHL debut and was first star in the win Nov. 3 at Columbus.

Scrivens has fashioned a 4-1-0 record with the Marlies this season with a 2.41 GAA.
