Biography
Last Season (2010-11)
• Made his NHL debut on Dec. 15, 2010 in 5-2 loss at Detroit (plus-1) after 274 professional games between the ECHL and AHL.
• Scored his first NHL goal on March 12, 2011 vs. Detroit and scored in back-to-back games on March 24 vs. Edmonton and March 26 at Minnesota.
• Finished the season with seven points (3g, 4a) in 24 NHL games after being called up on four different occasions.
• Notched a goal in back-to-back playoff games on 4/13 and 4/15 vs. Houston, which were also his first career AHL playoff games played.
CAREER
2009-10: Appeared in 76 games in his first season with Peoria. Notched three points at San Antonio (2g, 1a) on 11/20/09 including the eventual game-winning goal. Recorded a four game point streak (1g, 3a) from 12/27/09 to 12/31/09. Named “World Painting Company Player of the Month” for November.
2008-09: Assigned to the Quad Cities from Calgary’s Training Camp on 9/26/08. Quad Cities’ nominee for “AHL Rookie of the Month” for October after recording six points (3g, 3a) in 10 games. Recorded the 100th point of his professional career on 12/10/08 with an assist vs. Milwaukee. 2007-08: Recalled from the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL on 11/21/07. Appeared in four AHL games with the Quad Cities before returning to Las Vegas on 12/17/07. Helped Las Vegas to the best regular season record in the ECHL’s National Conference. Led the Wranglers (ECHL) in post-season points (22) and goals (9) while tying for the team lead in post-season assists (13). Las Vegas reached the ECHL Kelly Cup Finals.
2006-07: Spent first full professional season of hockey with Las Vegas (ECHL). Helped Las Vegas become the ECHL regular season champions. Scored three goals adding three assists for six points in the 2007 Kelly Cup Playoffs. WHL: Member of the 2004-05 WHL regular season champions with Kootenay. Ranked second in the WHL in points with 93 during the 2005-06 season, while leading Kootenay in goals (42), assists (51) and points (93). Was a teammate of Brennan Evans for one season (2002-03) while with Kootenay.
