Biography
2003-04 Awarded the Pat Quinn Defenseman of the Year Award as Vancouver’s (WHL) best defenseman.
2004 DRAFTED Dallas’ 1st choice, first round, 28th overall in NHL Entry Draft.
2004-05 - Sidelined majority of season with injury.
2005-06 - Finished third on team with 148 PIM’s. Won Western Hockey League (WHL) Championship, recording one goal and nine assists: 18(1/9/10).
2006-07 - Made Professional debut vs. San Antonio Rampage and recorded his first Pro point, an assist, on 10/7. Recorded first Professional Goal at Hamilton Bulldogs (Yann Danis) on 1/3. Named by Iowa Hockey Operations Staff as Most Improved Player. Selected by teammates as Iowa Stars 7th Player Award Winner. Was one of 20 AHL players nominated for the InterContinental Hotels Group Ironman Award. Became first Iowa Star to play in all 80 games. Also played in all 12 Calder Cup playoff games.
