2007-08 Highlights: Ranked as the eighth best prospect in the Calgary organization by the 2008 edition of The Hockey News Future Watch…Assigned to the Quad Cities on Sept. 19th after attending Calgary’s Training Camp…Was the Flames nominee for Rbk/AHL Player of the Week (Oct. 22nd through 28th) after recording a goal in two games during the week…Played his 100th professional game on Nov. 23rd in Rockford…Scored with 6:13 left in regulation to force overtime, and eventually a shootout, in a 2-1 shootout win over Iowa on Dec. 19th. Chucko was named the game’s second star for his efforts…Recorded his 100th career penalty minute with a fighting major on Feb. 17th vs. San Antonio…Tied a franchise record with four points (two goals and two assists) in a 6-1 win over Grand Rapids on Feb. 24th. Chucko scored the game-winning goal…Recorded the game-winning goal and added an assist on his way to first star honors in a 5-2 win at Iowa on March 15th…Received first star honors after scoring two power-play goals in the Flames home finale on April 11th…Reached a new career high in goals (15) and points (29) with a goal on April 13th vs. San Antonio.
