CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: 2011-12: Traded by San Jose Sharks organization to Florida Panthers organization in exchange for forward Tim Kennedy on 1/26/12; finished season with San Antonio Rampage (AHL) after beginning campaign with Worcester Sharks (AHL)… 2010-11: Led Worcester (AHL) defensemen with 12 goals, and chipped in 14 power play points and two game-winning goals… Had seven multi-point games, and was second among Worcester defensemen with 129 shots… 2009-10: Eighth among AHL defensemen, first among San Antonio (AHL) defensemen, and fourth on Rampage in points (49)… First among defensemen, fifth on San Antonio with 175 shots… 2008-09: Led San Antonio defensemen in goals (9) and points (23) in first full AHL season… 2007-08: Began season with Arizona Sundogs (CHL), and finished fifth among Arizona defensemen in points (25) despite playing just 22 games for team before call-up to San Antonio (AHL)… 2006-07: Served as captain for Boston University… Named Hockey East First Team All-Star, won Hockey East’s Best Defensive Defenseman Award, and ranked third on team with a +13… Made professional debut with San Antonio (AHL)… 2005-06: Ranked second on BU in points among defensemen with 17… 2004-05: Was one of six players to appear in all 41 games for BU… 2003-04: Scored first collegiate goal at Boston College on 12/5/03… 2002-03: In final season of prep career, was All-New England Selection as senior at St. Sebastian’s School, and led all New England prep defensemen in scoring… 2001-02: Earned All-League honors as junior at St. Sebastian’s School… Other: college teammate of David van der Gulik for three seasons at Boston University..
