DRAFTED: Selected by the Montreal Canadiens in the 7th round, 200th overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. 2006-2007 HIGHLIGHTS: Finished third overall in OHL scoring with 131 points, and led the league with 91 assists ... His 131 points placed him second on London behind the OHLâ€™s leading scorer Patrick Kane who notched 145 points (62-83-145). CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: In two seasons (2005-07) in the OHL with London, Kostitsyn posted 209 points (66-143-209) and 154 penalty minutes in 122 regular season games, and collected 58 points (22-36-58) and 83 penalty minutes in 35 playoff contests ... Named to the 2005-06 OHL First All-Rookie Team and led all OHL rookies in scoring with 78 points (26-52-78) ... Took home back-to-back OHL Rookie of the Month honours in October and November of 2005 ... In 2005-06, ranked second on London in playoff goals (13), assists (24) and points (37) ...
