DRAFTED: Selected by the Montreal Canadiens in the 5th round, 139th overall, in 2006 NHL Entry Draft. 2006-2007 HIGHLIGHTS: Appeared in 50 games with Nizhnekamsk Neftekhimik in Russia, recording two assists and 64 penalty minutes ... Won a silver medal with Russia at the 2007 World Junior Hockey Championships in Sweden, posting two goals, an assist, six penalty minutes and a plus-3 rating.
